Paint
Out Westminster, an outdoor painting event, will be the same day as
Westminster's ever popular "Flower and Jazz Festival." on historic Main
St. The event will be held on Saturday, May 11, 9:30 am-3:30 pm. There
will be a reception for artists immediately after the event at the
Carroll County Public Library on Main St. The completed works will be on
view in the Director's Hall Gallery (now with track lighting) at the
Carroll Arts Center the following week. Further details will be emailed
to all participating artists.
Please note the change in the fees. This event is free to CCAC members/$10 to non members.
About
15 artists participated in last year's event. It was very popular with
the visitors to the Flower and Jazz Festival as well as followers of
plein air events. This is a delightful event for both participants and
the public.
